CEGA

Our Financial Literacy & Aspirations pilot in Eastern Uganda was funded by the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA). The study tested a mobile financial literacy game and aspirations-based media intervention designed to strengthen financial knowledge, goal setting, and economic empowerment among women entrepreneurs.

Agency Fund

Building on the success of the pilot, SENLA is currently implementing an expanded study across Uganda. This larger-scale research is jointly supported by CEGA and the Agency Fund and evaluates how gamified financial literacy, aspirations media, and AI enabled coaching can improve business outcomes and financial decision-making for women entrepreneurs.
